As usual, I’ve waited until the last minute to announce the Monthly Contest. Well I’m sure you’ll be able to forgive me considering what I’m giving up for grabs. If you’ve watched my Argard review, you already know that I’ll be giving that bluetooth earpiece away for free along with 2 iPhone cases of your choice. If you really don’t want the earpiece then I’ll let you pick another case in place of it. I’ll put a list of the cases that are available at the end of this post.
Now, before I give up any of my precious prizes you’re going to have to do something for me. Don’t worry, it’s completely legal and will only require 5 minutes of your day. I want you to give me 5 suggestions on how to improve this site and to attract more visitors. I want BMAi to be the most informative, fun, entertaining and hottest iPhone site on the InterWeb. I want this site to be the number 1 search result whenever the word “iPhone” is Googled (right now we’re #279, I checked). But seriously, I need your help. Tell me what I can do to make this your favorite iPhone website and I’ll try my hardest to make it happen. 2. Free downloads(piggybackin on Karan)
3. Let us personalize our info with Pics,etc.

1) have a seperate forums page aside from this comments section that way readers can help readers with troubleshooting issues.
2) create a buymeaniphone.com store with products with your logo (praying hands) and the website. you can start handing them out for free in each of your contests so when ppl wear them it will be free advertisement
3) start reviewing other accessories such as more bluetooths, earphones, fm transmitters, speakers, etc
4) review smaller websites that people may not no about sell cheap 3rd party accessories (for example hdaccesory.com)
5) A daily or weekly tip about the iPhone that people may not know about. You can call it “Did you Know?” and have a little known tip such as how to use the Queue functions in installer, or if you tap the top of the screen while in Safari it will take you to the top of the page and display the url.
1. review other things besides just cases, such as apps, how to’s, and some cool tips and tricks. also some rumors, or other cool things done with the iphone, like gizmodo.com does.
2. have some t-shirts, and hats with the BMAI logo on it, basically to advertise.
3. make a forum section
4. make next months contest so to win you have invite at least 5 new people to BMAI
5. have some cool downloads, such as apps, or features.

1) CHANGE THE WEBSITES NAME….NO OFFENCE OMAR BUT MAYBE PPL DONT VISIT THE SITE CUZ THEIR PUTTOFF BY THE WEBSITES NAME,,,THEY MYT THINK ITS A WEBSITE WHERE U ACTUALLY BUY SOME1 AN IPHONE!!!
2) HMM MAYB SUM ADVERTISEMENT WOULD DO U GOOD….
PPL MYT GET INTRESTED IF U ADVERTISE THEIR SSTUFF ON UR WEBSITE AND THEYLL ADVERTISE UR WEBSITE,,,THAT WAY U DONT LOOSE ANY VISITORS,,BUT MYT EVEN GAIN SOME MORE/…..THE ADVERTISEMENT DOESNT HAVE TO B PERMANENT JUST FOR A SHORT PERIOD OF TIME.

AS EVERY1 NO’S FACEBOOK IS THE LARGEST SOCIALISING NETWORK……SOO MAYB CREATING A GROUP WITH LINKS TO UR SITE AND SHOWING CONTESTS CUD ATTRACT HUGE AMOUNTS OF VISITORS AND SOON MEMBERS HOPEFULLY.
4) I HAVE NOTICED THAT NEARLY EVERDAY A APP IS REALESED ON INSTALLER…EVEN THEMES AND TWEAKS REGULARLY!
AND I HAVE NOTICED THAT THERE ARNT MANY VIDEOS EXPLAINIG HOW TO PROPERLY USE THAT APP..OR HOW TO USE WINSCP..OR HOW TO GET CUSTOM RINGTONES..OR HOW TO CHNG CARRIER IMAGE….U GET MY POINT?
SO THESE VIDEOS REALLY HELP PEOPLE AND MAYB THEY WILL START TO PAY ATTENTION TO THIS SITE.

Great idea for a contest. Here are my ideas…
1. This is probably the easiest, but also the hardest suggestion. Make posts daily. I notice that a lot of the time there will be 2 or more days between new posts. I understand the writers are busy, but 99% of the sites I visit daily are all updated daily. When people come and see that nothing new has been posted, there is no reason to stay and look around. As I said, this is the most work, but the easiest solution.
2. Tutorials. A lot of posts on the site include information about jailbreaking and other fun stuff, but almost never is there a tutorial. A lot of people that search iPhone are looking for information on jailbreaking and other stuff. If you provide a tutorial on how to jailbreak, views will skyrocket.
3. This is another very difficult one, but forums are in. Pretty much every mac site I visit has forums that users can use. This would allow users to come to the site, not only for news, but also when they need help or have questions for other iPhone users. It also gives people a reason to come and look around even if there is nothing new posted in news.
4. More reviews. This is already the best spot for iPhone case reviews on the net, but it can still be better. If there are more reviews on not only cases, but 3rd party accessories, 3rd party apps, and web apps, the views will keep coming. Maybe do a special like “________ of the week” This could be web app, 3rd party accessory, or any other iPhone related product of the week. These are things that people look forward to seeing.
5. An awesome links section. Provide a very detailed directory of where to find more iPhone stuff. A web app section, installer app section, iPhone wallpaper section, and many more. If these are sorted and easily accessible it would be great for thousands of iPhone users. I think this would be an awesome addition if it was very detailed and useful
