Pros: Nice quality leather, very affordable, comes with a free screen protector and cleaning cloth
Cons: Camera hole doesn’t line up, uses a velcro enclosure
Verdict: Despite the fact that this case doesn’t come with a swivel belt clip and uses a velcro enclosure, I still like it. I think the low price makes up for it’s short comings.

For those of you that don’t know, tethering refers to using a cell phone as a modem for your laptop. Creating a connection either with cables or wirelessly “tethers” your cell phone to your laptop. The full step-by-step guide can be found on ModMyiFone.com.
Does your wife or significant other also own an iPhone? Well you may not have thought about this concept, but Melvin Rivera of AllForces.com figured out that you could actually download and install an app on your iPhone and also on another iPhone without having to pay twice. If you’ve had to restore you’re iPhone already, then you’ll know that when you go back to redownload the apps you had on your iPhone originally that you will not be charged. Well basically, you can take this idea and apply it to installing an app you already have on someone else’s iPhone for free. Now I’m not sure if this is 100% legal so attempt at your own risk. Pros: Small, lightweight, 8 hrs. of continuous play back, allows you to control tracks and volume from headset
Cons: $150 might be a bit pricey for some

Ok you Windows users, are you ready to Jailbreak your 2.0 iPhone? WinPwn has been released to fulfill that urge. You can download it at rapidshare, or visit winpwn.com . I was checking out the site and it seems like WinPwn is slightly more complicated than the Pwnage Tool, but I haven’t really tested it out so don’t take my word for it. I have jailbroken my iPhone 3G using Pwnage Tool and it went pretty smoothly, only took about 15 minutes. I’ll have the video of that up very soon. Just FYI for those of you contemplating Jailbreaking that 2.0 iPhone, iPhone 3G or iPod Touch, keep in mind that most of the apps that you’ve downloaded via Installer in the past are not 2.0 ready. Actually Installer app isn’t even 2.0 ready yet, but Cydia, it’s distant cousin, is ready to roll with 2.0 and actually that is what the Pwnage tool installs on your iPhone after jailbreaking. Also, something else to consider is that there have been some rumors that 2.0.1 is going to be released shortly which should fix some of the slight glitches of 2.0 like the screen freezing up when selecting contacts for an email or text. If you do try out WinPwn, let us know how it goes. If you need a Newbie’s Guide to jailbreaking with WinPwn, click here

Apple started airing their new iPhone 3G commercials yesterday and they’ve posted the 3 ads on their website. The Ads are Everyone, Unslow, and Work Friendly. The ads demonstrate the new 2.0 software with the “Push” capabilities and the increased speed of the iPhone 3G. I wonder why the iPhone in the ads didn’t show the iPhone locking up when selecting a contact like it does for many of us
.
Just in case you were wondering, the song playing in the background of the new commercials is You, Me and the Bourgeoisie by the Submarines (iTunes link).
