App Store Is Open For Business [Update]

Well people a new age is upon us. Apple last night quietly released iTunes 7.7 into the wild. I had a hunch yesterday that they would do this because of the phones being sold today. So this morning I performed a manual update on my MacBook and there it was. And it’s a thing of beauty. Not really, we’ve had third-party apps for sometime now, but it is cool to have them in a familiar setting like iTunes. One thing I have noticed is that 7.7 isn’t available for Windows yet. I tried to update at work, but it is saying 7.6 is the most up to date version, weird. Guess Apple is showing love to the Mac Minions out there. Of the Apps that stand out are Remote (wirelessly control iTunes with your iPhone), Super MonkeyBall, AIM (AOL instant messenger), and more. Currently there are over 500+ apps available for download now. We’ll be taking a further look into this more in the future, reviewing apps and telling you the faithful reader what we thought about them Stay tuned of course But what good is this news if 2.0 isn’t out yet. None. Unless…..
