Obviously, this isn’t the best case in the world by a long shot but I can see where Proporta was trying to go with this. Maybe if the silicone was of a higher quality, and their layers lined up like they should, the case would at least be bearable. I was only able to use the Dual Skin case for a few days in fear that I would drop my iPhone and the case wouldn’t protect it. I wouldn’t recommend this case to anyone with an iPhone 3G. The price is surprisingly $2 higher than better cases that I’ve used. At $21.99, Proporta is selling their Dual Skin Silicone Case on their website. The Dual Skin Silicone Case by Proporta only gets a rating of 4 out of 10.
I noticed this video on YouTube and I thought that it raised an interesting question that I had never thought about. “Can you successfully play Accelerometer based games, like Super Monkey Ball, on an Airplaine?” If you’ve tried to do this yourself, tell us about your experience.
Here is my first review for iPhone 3G Cases. This Case Is made by Griffin and goes by the name of the Wave Case. This Case is available in a range of colors, and features an interlocking design. This means that if you get a 2 pack of cases, like I did, you can mix and match the colors. So you can have one color on the front and one color on the back.
The Case
The case is decent quality plastic for a case. The back of each case isn’t just normal plastic, it has a kind of rubbery feel to it. This adds great grip to the case, and the iPhone doesn’t feel as though it would just slip out of your hand. The one problem I have with this case, is the interlocking design. Even though this case does it’s job of

This is a good choice for those who just need something simple to protect their phone but not too bulky. I do suggest investing in a different screen protector, as the one packaged with this bundle is not the ideal solution. The horizontal stand alone is a definite plus. Not many cases come with that accessory which alone makes the price very reasonable. At $19.99, the Incipion dermaShot is available in virtually any color ranging from green to gray.
All in all, it’s basically just a normal silicone case but because of the extras that come with the phone, the Incipio dermaShot Silicone Case gets a rating of 8 out of 10. You can go to MyIncipio.com to get yours today!!
Video Review #75: Case-Mate Naked Case 3G from BuyMeAniPhone.com on Vimeo.

Rating: 5 out of 10
Pros: Full body protection
Cons: It put a deep scratch in the back of my iPhone, the case is a little loose
Verdict: If not for the scratch that this case caused to my iPhone I would have rated it at least an 8. I’ve spoken with a few other Naked Case owners and they haven’t had any scratches caused by this case, so be cautious if you do purchase it.
You can purchase this product directly from Case-Mate for $34.99
[Editors note: Case-Mate's CEO, Shashi Reddy, has made the following statement in regards to the Naked Case, " We are prepared to stand by our product, no matter what the issue is."]

Overall, this is the case of choice for those who tend to be clumsy with their phones. The rugged design compensates for all of the drops and scrapes that you punish your iPhone with throughout the day (trust me). Because the material is so thick, the vibrate switch on the side of the phone is so recessed that after a while, it feels almost like a chore to use. Despite the minor negatives listed above, this is a great case. I rate this case a 8 out of 10.
You can purchase this case in a variety of colors for only $19.99 from DLO.com.
Alright well today I have an app for you guys called endless walls. It’s basically an app that helps you find new wallpapers to put onto your iPhone. The way it works is it cycles through wallpapers like a slide show and when you find one you like you can pause the slide show and save to your phone or email it to a friend. There are tons of different wallpapers from sports teams to nature and my personal favorite Apple wallpapers. Now the downsides of this app is that it costs $2.00 which is pretty pricey considering they’re just wallpapers and you can’t fast forward to new wallpapers so it goes kinda slow from wallpaper to wallpaper for my taste. But if your a person that likes to change their wallpaper a lot and wants some new ones then this is the app for you.

Now with all the add-ons available for the iPhone, one can get lost in all the cases and battery adapters, bluetooth nick nacks and so on. When I saw this and realized what was brewing in the minds of these iPhone accessory makers, I knew that the iPhone/iPod Touch will be the next great hand held gaming system.

TouchArcade posted a few photos of a prototype and of a patent filed by two separate companies. The iControlPad was talked about in May, but now it’s accompanied by a working model. I for one think the gaming on the iPhone is completely different than anything out there, and performs great in most aspects. For some types of games, however, (NES) the touch screen just doesn’t provide the tactile feedback that I prefer. I cannot wait until these truly sees the light of day and are available for review. Hopefully BMAi can get a hand on them and provide an in depth review. What do you guys think of the game pads? Would you rock them? Or is gaming on your iPhone not something you’ll be doing much of? Post up and let us know.
[Update}
Just FYI, this control pad will only be able to play games that are developed specifically for the iControl Pad. iControlPad will be releasing an SDK for Developers to start creating games very soon. And BMAi has been promised a product sample of the iControlPad as soon as they are available, for a video review.
*Edit: More pictures after the break
