Yes it’s true. You can now send pictures to and from your iPhone with an application that is in the App Store. And no, it’s probably not going to get pulled like NetShare and Box Office. Well now that I have your hopes up about MMS, let me bring you back down from the clouds. This is not going to solve the lack of MMS on the iPhone. Lets go over a few things 1) You cannot use photos from your iPhones photo album.
2) You have no say in who gets your picture. (I GUESS if you’re picky thats a big deal)
3) You have no say in whose pictures you receive. I did get a few pictures from some people from Germany. That’s pretty cool I think. Don’t know any Germans. PhotoSwap allows you to take pictures from your iPhone and share them in the iPhone community. I have to say that there are some pretty cool pictures being taken from its users. One guy in Japan had tons of Anime action figures! Immediately after you take a picture, a random one pops up from another user. Its a pretty cool app, I suggest that everyone try it out. Best of all its Free. Who knows maybe in a few days, months or years, we’ll get a picture from each other.

Pros: Available in cool colors, comes with a screen protector
Cons: Besides it’s color, there’s nothing that really makes this case stand out among other silicon cases
Verdict: If you’re looking for a silicon case to protect your iPhone for under $30, then this case is for you.

Pros: The craftsmanship of the stitching and the leather is nice
Cons: The magnetic button enclosure on the back offers poor functionality and is easily knocked open by the belt clip, the belt clip feels cheap
Verdict: This is overall a nice case, but I feel it needs improvement before I would spend $60 on it.

Ok it’s totally NOT real, but an interesting concept.
According to Kevin Rose there will be some big updates coming to the iPod lineup, especially with the iPod Nano, but more importantly the iPod Touch will be the first device to receive the 2.1 software update with the iPhone soon to follow. Also noted is a big update coming for iTunes. Watch the video for the rest of the details.
Another interesting fact to take note of is Kevin Rose’s track record mentioned on MacRumor’s Forum: 3 right, 2 wrong, 1 part right. I still remember when he had a “reliable source” tell him about the original iPhone before it was even announced saying it would have 2 removable batteries, would work on GSM and CDMA networks, and have a slide out keyboard. So take this video with a grain of salt. In Kevin’s defense, Apple has been known to purposefully give out false specs to see which of it’s divisions are leaking information. Supposedly there were a few mock iPhone prototypes floating around before the original was announced to throw people off of it’s scent.
To start off this review, I just want to let everyone know that we at BMAi do not condone harassing or prank calling people you don’t know. But if you do like making your friends and family red in the face, then this app is for you. You won’t find this app in the App Store, you’ll have to have a jailbroken iPhone with Cydia on it to install this app. The SpoofApp is basically a tool that will allow you to do the following things:
1. Specify the number that you want to appear on the other person’s caller ID when you call them.
2. Change your voice to a woman or deep manly voice to diguise your identity.
3. And best of all, you can record the whole conversation and download it for hours of playback fun.
This app is too much fun. You receive 5 free minutes to test it out, and to purchase additional minutes it costs $10 for 60 minutes. If you don’t have an iPhone you can try it out by calling (866) 285-2323 and make 3 free calls.

The TubeStick Hybrid is a product made by Equinux. It basically allows you to watch TV on your Mac or PC. Of course there is more to it than that, you can watch free-to-air HDTV as well as digital and analog cable TV programs. Read about how the TubeStick Hybrid works with your iPhone, after the jump.

Hey guys, I have a useful app for you today if you write for a WordPress blog and want to publish your posts on the go. Now this app works a lot better than just going onto the internet from your iPhone because obviously it’s made to work with your iPhone. The app has a great user interface that’s very easy to use. One of the standout features for this app for me was that you can take pictures from your photo library on you iPhone or from your camera roll and put them right into your posts. What’s also a convenient feature is that when you get a phone call while your writing a post it has auto recovery so you don’t lose any thing you’ve written. It can do just about everything the web version can do like password login or save drafts. This app is free which were always fans of. Now for negatives, the app did have a few bugs when your were trying to preview a post, but the 1.1 update is supposed to fix that. It also has had some problems connecting to WordPress blogs that are self hosted and not hosted directly through WordPress. Well with negatives aside I think it’s a useful app and would recommend to anyone who likes to blog on the go, like the BMAi writers.
