Review: Speed Dial App by Triquarter Software

I have been looking for a quality speed dial program for quite some time now and I have tried a bunch of both paid and free applications. I have now come across a speed dial application that is worthy of staying not only on my iPhone, but on the first screen. Now I know the subject of speed dial applications is not a “sexy” subject but this one just plain works and works well. Others I have tried have been very laggy and crashy, frankly I could have scrolled through all my contacts and picked the one I needed before I got them to work. The Triquarter version is much smoother and the interface is quite nice. The icon resides on a page of your iPhone and when you open it you have the ability to program up to 9 contacts to speed dial. Unlike other applications the user can also tag the speed dial with a photo of the person to be called, other apps have you memorize who is in what location or make you tag it with some lame icon. With the Triquarter app the user also has the option of tagging the photo with what number it is associated with, like “mobile”, “work” or “home”, or simply leave the photo blank. This application launches quickly and dials quickly which is what a speed dial app is supposed to do, and that is more than I can say for the other apps I have tried in this arena. At .99 cents in the app store it is anything but expensive but it’s not free either. All things considered I would rather pay the minimal price and have an app that works well than have a free app that works not so well. Triquater has developed a simple app that simply works and I highly recommend it. Make sure you check out the video review to see all the details.
