App Review: Critter Crunch

Critter Crunch is, without a doubt, the most played game on my iPhone. It is very addicting, visually enticing, and certainly well worth the money.  Players control the character, Biggs, who must use his long and sticky tongue to  snatch the creatures that hang from the tree above and then feed them to each other till they burst, dropping jewels which add to your game score. If the creatures reach the bottom before Biggs eats enough jewels to fill his hunger gauge, they consume him up like a swarm of piranhas. The game play is pretty straight forward, and the controls are very simplistic. You drag your finger on the bottom of the screen to move Biggs from side to side to a row you want for Biggs to snatch a creature above and “spit” it to a creature that will consume the one he holds. Pretty much assisting the food chain of these creatures in this virtual  world, Biggs “feeds” the smaller creatures to the larger ones for them to  burst and drop jewels for Biggs to consume. The food chain puzzle play is quite innovative and the detailed graphics and visuals certainly make  this app a great work of art. I highly recommend Critter Crunch for  anyone looking for a game with great replay value, stunning graphics and visuals, and phenomenal and unique game play.
