iPhone Update 3.0 coming soon

Posted in News by Omar C. Published March 12th, 2009

Engadget just received an announcement from Apple that there will be a sneak peak of the new OS for the iPhone plus a preview of the new SDK. The event will be at 10 am PST at the Town Hall auditorium on the company’s campus in Cupertino, CA. Engadget will be covering it live for each and every juice tid bit (push notification, copy & paste… we’ll see). They aren’t expecting anything to be released or ready to go until later, but supposedly users won’t have to wait too many months for the real deal. It’s basically an opportunity for developers for start working on apps for the new update, so I’m sure once the SDK is released we’ll start finding out about the new features. What types of features do you think might come with the new update? One source said MMS, Bluetooth and USB tethering will finally arrive. Take that with a grain of salt though. What do you think? This looks promising, hopefully we end up with native video recording as well as push, MMS, and fully useable bluetooth!
