Rating: 7 out of 10
Pros:
very clean and sleek looking. Matches your MacBook or iMac perfectly. It’s supposed to increase the battery life of your mighty mouse.
Cons:
makes noise when you move the mouse around. A little pricey but it is aluminum.
Verdict:
Overall very cool mouse pad. I would definetly recommend it to anyone. Makes your desk space look very neat.

I just got a new MacPadd, and unfortunately, it isn’t all I’d hoped.

Basicly, it does not function as a suitable surface for precision mousing, at least, not with my Apple Mighty Mouse. I’ve tried cleaning the MacPadd, and cleaning the gliders on my mouse, but it seems as if there are portions of the mousepad’s surface where the mouse is unable to track properly, and the pointer will jump around erratically (although as far as I can detect, there are no irregularities on the mousepad’s surface that are causing this). This makes the MacPadd unacceptable to me as a mousepad.

Additionally, I ordered a MacPadd “Pro” (9″ by 9″ pad), but instead received the 9″ by 6″ product, so there are some issues with the order fulfillment process as well.

Ultimately, I cannot recommend this product, as much as I was hoping I’d love it.

I also ordered a 9″x9″ and paid for it also from MacPadd.com and was sent the smaller 9″x6″ pad with not explanation. They have failed to respond to my emails and have failed to send me a replacement. It is interesting that MacPadd.com is run by “Quaility Management Systems” (QMC).but appears to lack any traces of quality in their operation.

I ordered a MacPadd Pro 2 months ago and I haven’t received anything. Repeated emails to the company have gone unanswered. I would *NOT* recommend this company at all until they resolve the issues that they are currently having.

Well Toms hardware was having the same problems with this company. Here a link about it.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!

I bought a macpadd from them 3 months ago. They charged my card for the shipping and for the product but never delivered it. They won’t respond to my e-mails and phone calls. Tom’s Hardware has a lot of information on them. They’re a father and son team, David and Michael Free from Simcoe and Kitchener in Canada.

I live near Simcoe, should I go over there and ask for all the missing macpadds? lol or maybe I should tell my boss at Apple alllll about it, and how customers might associate their fraudulent activity with Apple

Laura says...

or send him a bill for your missing macpadd…
