iBird Explorer+
Monday Apple released three new iPhone ads in their “there’s an App for that” ad campaign bringing the total up to 8. The three new ads are titled: Itchy, Office, and Student. Itchy is a nature based commercial which features the Compass Go App($1.99) then transitions to an app for bird lovers with iBird Explorer Plus ($19.99), wow you must really love birds to spend that much on an app, but moving on, and finally Howcast (FREE, that’s more like it) which shows you how to do neat stuff. In this case, “How to recognize Poison Ivy”.

CC Terminal
The next ad is called “Office” which is a small business based App commercial. The first App feature is CC Terminal ($49.99) and demonstrates how you can process credit card Print & Sharesales straight from your iPhone. Now I can see paying $50 for this app since it will pay you back in spades down the road. Revenue generation vs bird watching, ehh, seems obvious but that’s just me. Well after you make the sale you need to print out a shipping label which Apple let’s you know is totally possible with Print and Share ($6.99) and finally an app at our favorite price, FREE, FedEx for tracking that particular package.

Apartments
The last ad caters to the college student population throughout iPhone land: From finding a place to live near campus with Apartments (FREE), to finding the best price on new and used text books, great video game, movie or CD with SnapTell (FREE). Finally the most important part of college life, editing all the photos to make it look like you have been studying more than partying with Photogene ($2.99). Wow! the college students get out for just $2.99 the developers must know all college students are broke.
All the iPhone ads including these 3 new ones can be viewed in the Apple iPhone Gallery.
