It has been reported that Apple is now giving owners of water damaged iPhones the opportunity to purchase a refurbished 
iPhone for a $199 fee. In the past, replacing a phone after having water damage required the iPhone owner to purchase a new phone thus extending their commitment to AT&T for another two years. The new policy states that customers can now purchase a refurbished iPhone for a $199 fee and simply swap out the SIM card. This change in policy has led to some speculation that a new iPhone WILL be released this summer as has been rumored. With the relaxation of the “water damage” policy experts are claiming this is Apple’s way of liquidating the current supply of refurbished iPhones. Many others still don’t think new hardware is eminent but that this new policy is simply Apple staying true to it’s reputation for customer satisfaction. With that said we are a few short weeks away from WWDC and we will all find out in due time. Until then feel free to toss your buddy in the pool with or without iPhone in hand since it will only cost your $199 to replace the soggy brick.

i think there will be a new iphone hardware but not an iphone nano just a better faster improved iphone

I kinda feel both happy and sad about the WWDC:
Sad:
-I got my iPhone 3G for Christmas and will feel unhappy if a brand new iPhone comes out
Happy:
-iPhone OS 3.0!
-Since Apple does update its devices every year/2 years and a new iPhone does come out… imagine the iPhone that comes out in 2010 (2-year contract ends with iPhone 3G)
WWDC? im guessing no knew I phone maybe a netbook tablet possibley some external key board add on for the iphone 3g
I want to know if the iPhone nano is a possiblity and also an iPod Touch 3G. The new software 3.0, can’t wait for it to be released.
Its probably gona be nothing, but i hope, i beg, for them to come out with a video capture software for the iphone!

I think that whats coming in WWDC is:
iPhone OS 3.0, a new iPhone, Mac OS X Snow Leopard (10.5.6), and maybe some other stuff like new versions of Final Cut Express/Pro…
i’m excited for the new iphone too. Hopefully the design will look more sleek. as for the replacement iphone price, i assume $199 is for 8gb only right?

New iPhone
3.0 Firmware Release
Blu-ray to MacBook’s
1. 3.0 + Ichat Iphone
2. Blu- ray for macs
3. Maybe a line of netbooks
I can see a potential iPhone, but I’m a little skeptical because it has been reported that recently the iPhone sales has gone up something like 150%, so why would they make a new one when their current one is doing so amazingly good, but if we know Apple then a new one is on it’s way probably more sleek and more compact, I’m going to look for a macbook air type of thing, but for the iPhone.
Hopefully Apple will announce a better camera with the next gen iphone!
Some of the things I am looking for during the WWDC is the following:
1. Tablet with an e-book reader combo
2. bluray support for macs
3. slight refresh on some of the apple products, like the imac, iphone or ipod touch.

i Think This Means Apple Will Be Bringing In A New iPhone in June. I Want Wait Hope The New One Comes Out Before My Birthday On June 15 So I Can get it.
Looking at Apple’s recent track record, there are bound to be some big announcements coming. Maybe the MacBook Wheel (as hinted at by The Onion) will finally hit the shelves, or the new buttonless iPhone “that can talk to you!”
Only kidding. I think Apple must have something up their sleeve. It would be a pretty boring keynote without something to announce. I don’t think the iPhone will be changing much, but I’m sure we’ll see it’s 3rd iteration. It will probably still run on the 3G network, but will have an improved battery life(possibly removeable?). We should probably be getting some sort of video capability to be included with a new camera. It might even be possible that we’ll see a larger flash memory.
I don’t think that it’ll be as big of an upgrade as the 3G was, but a hardware change is sure to be in place.

Video recording (don’t think editing is a possibility [yet])
POSSIBLY thinner but definitely going to have a better battery
I don’t think the new iPhone is going to be too much more advanced. I
do believe there will be a “high” and “low” end version but the “high”
end version will be in the United States, while the “low” end version
(low being 2,1 and high being 3,1) being in poorer areas of the world.
Mac Updates:
Snow Leopard
Mac Netbook (no name prediction)
Improved specs on the iMac and maybe Mac Mini

I think that Apple might release a new iPhone. At least that is what it seems right now. They have to compete with the now Palm Pre that will be out soon.
Liquidation lol, people should just wait until the new iphone comes out. Why pay $199, when you can get the new one in the summer.

On the WWDC I think, we will see a new iPhone (don’t know how it would look like)
Some hardware for the iphone. Something like we saw at the keynote from early 2009.
And hopefully a new MacTablet or some opgrades to the new MacBook Unibody. And not to forget OSX 10.5.7 Snow Lepard.
