I am now on my second pair of Tiger Eyes, and can confidently say this purchase was a mistake for the following reasons:

1) Customer Support - horrible

Just to exchange/replace my original defective pair of Tiger Eyes, the process took about a month and cost me $12.00 in return shipping. The people at JayBird take many days (on a good day) to respond to e-mail and RMA requests, and don't communicate very well.

2) Product quality.

The wiring and connection are horrible. My first pair of tiger eyes started to give me static after 2 or 3 uses. On top of that, the microphone stopped working, and I had to constantly "wiggle" the connector around to make it work.

After receiving my replacement pair of Tiger Eyes, I had the exact same problem! I use them once, and start to get static on the line, and when I'm on a phone call, the other party says I sound horrible.

After TWO different pairs of TE1's, and 2 months of frustration, I give up.

(for comparison, I'm using a cheap pair of Skullcandy, and the Apple supplied earbuds with mic with my iPhone, and am having no issues. Definitely an issue with the Tiger Eyes)

Thanks for the excellent review on the Jaybird Tiger eyes headphones. I am looking for in-ear headphones that sound great while I run (training for the marathon). Sounds like these are the ones to get. Are there any other sweat proof high end sounding in ear headphones that you would recommend/have done reviews on? thank you.
