I would like to see a feature in gps where you can set multi routes, as in if you wanted to go , takito place A then place B then place C etc, it would map it all at the same and not just a map from your start location.

1/ Be able to have custom voices or even record your own!
2/ Show current speed limit in driving zone.
3/ Be capable of sharing your own personal POI with other users on a database. Leaving reviews for restaurants for example

Theres a lot of features already on GPS programs Etc. But, If i had the option to choose an option, and or options, I would probably have to go with a simple feature that would countdown from maybe 30 or so in feet on how far away you are from your specific target. That way, I can have a better feel of where it is im trying to go.

I am not too sure if most have this feature, but the one I currently have, does not sadly.

This one is good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think that I would like to see sat maps and have the gps speek places like “turn right on 1st street after the Tacobell” Not everyone takes directions by street names, some like to know land marks. I should sell the idea not give it free to everyone on here.

I would like to be able to detect if a child or animal is around my vehicle before moving out of my driveway or other parking spot.I do not have a gps,so this is all new to me.i would love to try one on my iPhone 3g

Hey time nice vid and great giveaway!

I would like to see more “real-time” features in a GPS device such as:

1. Real-time weather conditions on the screen and weather reports. For example if you’re driving and it’s sunny but 15 miles ahead there is a storm heading your way it would be nice to receive an audio message alerting you of the upcoming change in conditions.

2. Same concept as stated above but with real-time traffic reports alerting you when a traffic jam is ahead, an accident, etc.

3. Lastly I would like to see some type of scanning device (infrared camera possibly?) that can be connected to the GPS unit’s back that can scan the road in front of you in real-time and allow you to switch from the map view to an infrared view of the road. This would be great for night driving especially in conditions such as heavy fog, rain, snow, sleet, hail, etc. and could also help you see animals (or people) ahead of you that may be attempting to cross the road at night (deer, opossums, skunks, squirrels, etc.)

i would to see all the all the region together in one app that way we don’t have to buy another Sygic map for other location that we wanted!

I would like to see a GPS system that could track multiple vehicles. It would be beneficial if you are traveling in a group or someone has arrived at a specific destination ahead of you and does not have a cell phone. It would allow you to look up where they are, and direct yourself to their vehicle. I recently went on a camping trip with a group of friends and spent two hrs trying to find where they were. There were no cell signals, but I had access to GPS satellites.

i think it should have a voice activated internet search

They should have live street view, alert of you going over speed limit, alert of hidden camera/cop. The best thing they should have is that it should allow you to put music on the GPS and allow you to listen to music while using GPS. Customization of the voice.

I like the idea of being able to see google street view as well as the 3d view etc. Also built in ipod buttons so you don’t have to switch back and forth. And the ability to play the ipod and then have the ipod go silent when the GPS announces something.

I think that GPS should alert you if there is police around your location

I would love to see augmented reality (which will be coming in the 3.1 update) implemented on gps. Maybe seeing guiding arrows on the actual highway or street, and pointing to where the best exit for gas, food, or points of interest are! I really hope they use this technology once it’s released!

I would also like to see street view in a gps app also maybe a stand alone gps wit a radar detector included

I would like to be able to send an email or text message my gps with an address. That way I don’t have to write down a address and bring it to the car.

OMG! Look at that dashboard. I didn’t think anyone used that thing. Can’t believe I almost missed this contest. However, I’m going to pass on this one, so it’ll go to someone that will find it a bit more useful. There’s typically only 1 road from here to there in Alaska and if you get lost, well….
