Video Review: Altec Lansing BackBeat Plus Earphones

Posted in Earphones, Reviews, Video by Omar C. Published August 5th, 2009

Rating: 7 out of 10
Pros: Great sound quality for the price. Braided fabric cord.
Cons: They look a little cheap cause the housing is made of plastic.
Overall: I was pleased with these earphones at first. The sound quality is actually very nice, especially for a pair of headphones under $100. They are probably at the $50 price point because of cheaper materials that they are made of. One thing to note is that the left ear stopped working a week after the filming of this review. I’m sure it’s covered under warranty, but I still felt the need to mention it.

These headphones can be purchased directly from Altec Lansing for $50.

If I didn’t find the Klipsch S4i’s, these would probably be in my list to choose from. Great review Omar.

I think I heard that Altec Lansing has really good customer service as well, so I bet it you hit them up they would replace it with no problems.
