Pros: Gives you the ability to view videos stored on your iPod/iPhone on the big screen instead of huddling around your iPod/iPhone. Small footprint, easy to set up. Charges while it plays. Compact easily transported from one location to another.
Cons: A bit pricey at $69.95. Since video on the iPod/iPhone is compressed to save precious space the resolution on larger screens is not the greatest but viewable.
Overall: A simple solution to view photos or video on your iPod/iPhone on the big screen. This is great for family gatherings. You will no longer have to huddle around your iPhone or computer to view those precious moments.

The Facebook application on the iPhone really isn’t that great in my opinion. It’s an extremely watered down version of the site, which to my wife, is a giant waste of time. Well they finally decided to update the application, and have submitted the revision to Apple. As of today, the update is not available but here are the upcoming changes and a few screens.
- See your upcoming Events and RSVP
- See your friends’ birthdays
- See Pages and post updates and photos to Pages you administer
- Write Notes and read your friends’ Notes
- Upload videos from an iPhone 3GS
- Upload photos to any album
- Complete photo management (create albums, delete albums, delete photos, delete photo tags)
- Change your Profile Picture
- Zoom into photos
- Like posts and photos
- See the same News Feed as the Facebook website
I wonder where they got the idea for this commercial….

Pros: Stylish, great protection including covering the screen, all ports accessible, scroll wheel travels nicely.
Cons: The fabric one has a corner that is not totally glued down, just a very small section but still a section nonetheless, a bit expensive at $29.95
Overall: Another great case from Speck, which gives nice protection all the way around and really personalizes your nano. if you are frugal you can find it a bit more competitively priced.

Pros: It really works! Amazingly! It’s small, simple to set up, and truly a cellular savior.
Cons: Cords and Unit are unattractive. A bit pricey but totally worth it. Doesn’t work with Nextel, Sprint, and boost mobile.
Overall: There are a few carriers that the Zboost are currently not compatible with including Nextel, Sprint push to talk, and Boost Mobile due to the Zboost being a dual band unit. That aside both units worked amazingly. They’re small and portable, easy to set up and bottom line I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for an effective and simple way to boost their cellular signal.

Pros: Nice warm sounding Mid’s and High’s. Nice quality microphone
Cons: Can become uncomfortable to wear after a couple hours of use, bass response lacking
Overall: For $20 these are definitely worth the price, and a good choice if you’re looking to upgrade from the Apple headphones w/o breaking the bank. These aren’t going to impress to many rock enthusiasts, but for classical and pop listeners these will definitely do the job.

Pros: Simple easy to use interface that gets you from point A to B very nicely. You can customize your route and put in as many intermediate destinations as you would like. Very nice lane assist that encompasses half the screen for junctions on the highway and full screen for junctions in town.
Cons: No landscape at this point but the developer says that will be changed in the next revision. Voice is a bit low on the volume so when the kids are loud and the air conditioning is up it becomes hard to hear. Can’t change time from military time to 12 hour time. Need to purchase the Eastern half of the US and the Western Half.
Overall: G-Map for iPhone from Xroad is a good, simple, easy to use GPS App for the iPhone. There are a few things mentioned above that will make it even better mainly the landscape mode and a louder voice for directions but all in all a good product. The G-Map for iPhone is very competitive in price. It can be purchased by eastern US or western US for $34.99 or you can purchase some of the larger states alone for $19.99. This is good for folks who may not travel outside their home state but still want navigation for intrastate travel.
You can purchase G-Map for the iPhone by Xroad for $34.99 for either Eastern US or Western US or select states for $19.99. Click here to be brought to the western US page.
