Lexmark unveils LexPrint iPhone app

Today Lexmark announced it’s new iPhone app. It’s one specifically designed to promote easy photo printing courtesy of Lexmark, the international printer manufacturer. The LexPrint App enables wireless photo printing from an iPhone or iPod Touch directly to any Lexmark printer – making it easier than ever to print your own photos. Best of all it’s FREE.

Additionally, Lexmark is announcing a MobileMe SmartSolution allowing users to access their stored MobileMe data directly from their printer’s touch screen. The touch screen allows users to preview photos, adjust the brightness or switch between black-and-white or color before printing. MobileMe makes it easy for users to share and print photos anywhere around the world. For example, a family member in London can add photos to your MobileMe gallery and you can print them in Texas for a new photo frame all within three minutes.

Lexmark’s Interact printer (pictured above), a $199 wireless 3-in-1 Web connected touch screen inkjet printer, is now available at select Apple Retail Stores and at store.apple.com.
