Did The iPad Have A Camera?

Posted in News by Ryan W.. Published February 4th, 2010

ipadMission Repair, a company based in Kansas, has gotten their hands on a few of the replacement parts for the iPad. Its seems though, Apple might have been holding back on us. The upper most part of the iPad bezel shows a recession similar in size to an iSight module. So Mission Repair decided to find out if it was indeed the location of a removed camera. Using a module taken from a MacBook Pro, you can clearly see that the iPad was indeed to have a camera. What does this mean for us? Well hopefully the next generation of the iPad will have some sort of front facing camera. And if you’re holding back on buying one with a camera, at least you know it might be coming down the line. Post up and tell us what you think.
