Cons: $70 is definitely on the high side of external battery packs, 30 pin connector does not work well if using a case.
Overall: This is a great device, although a bit on the pricey side, but with the current promotion I highly recommend it. If you use any style of case definitely pick up the mini-usb 1800 so the cable allows you to charge and not worry about adding additional stress on the connection.

USB: nice little product there. I like that their chargers all have an additional function like a flashlight and a laser pointer. I’ve been looking at the BluePack S3 2600 because it’s pretty much universal and it has a nice capacity. Good review, keep up the good work.
USB – I really like the Deluxe See ID DeepPocket Wallet, but RichardSolo don’t shipp to Norway

Their dual dock was also very nice. I have seen a few reviews on it and even went ahead and purchased one! I couldn’t complain, it’s great to be able to charge both my iPhone and iPod at the same? time!

USB- Wow! I saw a solar charger! I’m a huge proponent of solar energy and this thing looks cool! USB – I really like the products from Dexim. Their P-Flip Power Dock is a really cool. I love the concept that the backup battery also doubles up as a dock. That is one product I would love to own.
Also their BluePack batteries look very nice with the silver/chrome accents.
30- From the Richard Solo range I really dig the Richard Solo 1200. I love the compact form factor. it might not give me the amount of charge as the 1800 but the fact that it is compact makes up for it.
USB- Cool. I think that you should do a review on the dexim iPod shuffle Charger, and the Tweakers Mini-Boom Speakers! All of richard’s products are great!
Hey, would love either version of the battery packs. They look like they’re really innovative and actually take it a step further with the laser pointer and flashlight.
Richard Solo actually has a ton of iPhone products that would be pretty great to have or even see a review of. I’m a big fan of bluetooth capabilities and the e-blue Wireless Bluetooth Speakers would probably be a great addition to my room but I would love a BuyMeAniPhone review before making a purchase.
I never seem to be satisfied with any case that I get either and am pretty interested in the RichardSolo Custom Case.

30- these look really good I’ve looked at the cheaper ones made buy different companys and they don’t compare to this at all the one Richard solo product I liked the look of is the e-blue Bluetooth speakers if you could get that to reveiw it would be awsome

30 – And I would like to comment about the iMainGo2 Speakers for iPod Touch. I don’t own this product, but my friend does. I borrowed it from him because I needed a speaker louder than the internal speaker for iPod Touch 2G. I used this product and I loved it.? I was listening to my iPod upstairs, then I went downstairs to get a drink and satisfyingly, I still heard the music. And I love how it’s in a case.

USB – Dexim ipod shuffle charger seems awesome because you can charge it without the big cable. I always have that problem because whenever? i am on the plane with my laptop and i want to charge it, then i have all those big cables flopping around.

30 -I think that the “iPhone assistant for 3G/3GS” looks really nice, Fits perfect and dont take som much place in the backpack! awesome video aswell.
USB- Great Review of the product Nick. I’ve seen many other backup batteries for the iPhone 3G, but barely any for the iPhone 3GS. The 1800′s looks are really cool. Also love the little laser pointer haha, awesome addition!

Please get a Pogo Jumper that you can use when testing out the durability, and grip of cases. Perhaps even make some video reviews while pogoing around?

30-Sweet review! Richard Solo always has some sweet products, I get the flier for them every so often and i love looking through it. Definitely really like the look of both of the battery backups, but the 30 pin backup just seems to appeal more to me i guess. Really like the battery life of them both though
