Rating: 8 out of 10
Pros: Great amount of game play, multiple game styles, realistic betting and hand outcome
Cons: $5 price tage, multi-player takes a long time due to people not paying attention
Overall: This is a necessity for any true poker player, at $5 it definitely is a better purchase than Apple’s Texas Hold’em app.

Rating: 9 out of 10
Pros: Pick up and play type of game, excellent replay value, open feint, addictive, $.99
Cons: I can’t think of any, so heres a stretch….a better home screen icon!
Overall: This is one of my all time favorites, great twist to bejeweled.  I can’t wait to play it on the iPad and at $1 anyone can afford this great game.  Pick up and start playing, pick up where you left off after closing the application.  I give this app the editors choice award for creativity, graphics and gameplay.

This app can be purchased March 29th in the iTunes App Store.  Check out more here.

Video Review: MeElectronics M6 earphones

Posted in Earphones, Reviews, Video by Omar C. Published March 26th, 2010

Rating: 9 out of 10
Pros: Comes with lots of extras and a hard pouch
Cons: It’s possible that the flexible wire at the ends may loosen up and not keep it’s shape after some time
Overall: I really liked these headphones and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of sound they delivered. I especially like the hard flexible wire at the ends that allow you to secure the earphones around your ear during active use. I would definitely recommend checking out the M6s from MeElectronics.

This product retails for $49.99 and can be purchase at MeElec.com

Video Review: Case Mate Fuel Lite

Posted in Cases, Reviews by Mark Kennedy. Published March 24th, 2010

Rating: 8 out of 10
Pros: Very nice slim battery backup in a slider case design. Great that it can still sync while still inside this case.
Cons: The soft touch finish is nice but can develop small scratches, Also the On/Off button is very sensitive.
Overall: This is a great slim case style battery backup that adds about 2 hours of additional talk time for those people who just need a little more talk time then normal. Minus the finish being able to scratch easily and the on/off button being a bit too sensitive this is a great product.

Case Mate Fuel Lite can be purchased at Case-Mate.com for $ 49.99

Pros: A very nice clear back snap style case with anti scratch coating
Cons: No front protection and limited drop protection
Overall: This another nice back snap style case. Just like many other back snap style cases it offers limited protection and is more for looks however this case does have a nice anti-scratch coating.

Rating: 7 out of 10
Pros: The case provides excellent protection for your device & it’s easy to hold especially when gaming as the shape & silicon material offers a nice grip. Its got a great looking design & it comes with a bunch of extras like a screen protector & video stand.
Cons:
It has a ridiculously high attraction to dust. Not only is it almost impossible to keep dust away but also clean the dust off.
Overall: It’s a great case with a great design. It supplies superb protection & all the cut outs, ports, & buttons are easy to access. It comes in a variety of colors. Check it out.
