Rokbed Fuzion Aluminum Case

Posted in Cases, Editors' Choice, Reviews, Video, iPhone 4 by Tom Moccia. Published February 5th, 2012

Rating: 9 of 10
Pros:
Superior protection and design, the new polycarbonate bottom is a huge improvement, no signal or GPS drop-out, just plainsexy, Made in the USA, superior customer service, cutouts big enough for third party connectors and some docks.
Cons: Needs to include a rear screen shield, upper end of price spectrum.
Overall:
The Rokbed Fuzion by Rokform is a great improvement on the original Rokbed which I adored.  The fact that you no longer need a screwdriver to apply and remove the case makes the Fuzion an everyday case option for those of us that may need to remove the case. With many colors to choose from and a few specialty camo paint jobs your sure to find one that you will just love.  I find it hard to take this case off my phone so with that fact, great design and made in Southern California, this case gets my Editor’s Choice Award.

Go to the Rokform website, check out all their products and pick up your Fuzion for $79-$99. You won’t be sorry.

Mipow Maca & Maca Air

Posted in External Battery, Reviews, Video, iPhone 4 by Tom Moccia. Published February 3rd, 2012

Rating: 8 of 10
Pros:
Great colors, record album feel on the back is great for grip, both are minimalist tic, on off button, sync and charge, affordable.
Cons: The plastic top could have been designed better.
Overall:
The Mipow Maca series is a solid battery case and served me quite well at both CES and Macworld.  With either the Air at 1200 mAh or the 2200 mAh priced at a reasonable $79 you really can’t go wrong.

Head on over to the Mipow website to check out all their products and pick up a Maca.

While I find it interesting that Samsung is going after Apple in their new ad campaigns, I do think they could be a tad bit more creative. One question I had after watching the video: Who uses turn by turn directions when walking? What do you think of Samsung’s new ad? Post a comment and let us know.
