MiWallet Case for iPhone 4(S)

Posted in Cases, Reviews, Video, iPhone 4 by Tom Moccia. Published April 15th, 2012

Price: $27.99 directly from the MiWalletCase.com
Rating:
7 out of 10
Pros:
Combines wallet and phone thus avoiding the four pocket pat down, genuine leather, super affordable at under $30.
Cons:
Fit and finish news to be improved upon , need to flip open the case to use the camera.
Overall:
The MiWallet Case is a great concept at great price and available in black or brown leather.  If the fit and finish are improved upon in relation to the earpiece cutout, volume buttons and home button cutout it would be close to perfect.  Still a solid wallet case for those times when you want to minimize what your are toting around.

Pros: Very nice silicone case with great color options
Cons: Lack of screen shield and slight issue of debris caught in the mesh design
Overall: This is a great silicone case with a nice fit and finish. With this case you are getting a great silicone case at a budget price of 20 dollars. Even with the lack of screen shields I feel this is a great case for the price.

Pros: Cool colors, affordable compared to other shell cases, matte finish that resists most fingerprints, stabilization feet.
Cons: Impossible to find in retail, mo “clear” option.

Craftsman AssureLink Final Review

Posted in Apps, Editors' Choice, Misc, Reviews, Video, iPhone 4 by Tom Moccia. Published March 21st, 2012

Rating: 9 out of 10
Pros: Never wonder if the garage door is open again, web portal and the ultra cool mobile app, open and close for kids or deliveries is super convenient, piece of mind, supper quiet, easy to install, affordable and constantly on sale.
Cons: No camera to monitor the area YET, first year free then $19.99 a year after that.
Overall: As we have discussed in the previous videos the Craftsman AssureLink Garage Door Opener eliminates guessing if you closed the garage door with web or mobile application monitoring.  The garage door opener itself installs in a breeze and should take you less than an afternoon.  With the ability to add up to 16 internet gateways you can monitor and control garage doors of light modules.  This unit is constantly on sale so I won’t quote a price, but I will say it will cost you slightly more than a standard garage door opener.  The Craftsman AssureLink easily receives my Editor’s Choice Award.

Spigen (SGP) Ultimate Class

Posted in Editors' Choice, Reviews, Screen Protector, Video, iPhone 4 by Tom Moccia. Published March 15th, 2012

Rating: 9 out of 10
Pros: Super easy installation, works with most cases due to slightly smaller footprint, crystal clear that resists fingerprints, rigid construction, same Steinheilquality, scratch resistant.
Cons: Expensive at $27.99 a shield and only one is included, somewhat confusing as to the difference between the Ultimate Class and the Glasst, makes the home button feel rather deep and home button stickers would help.
Overall: The Ultimate Class from Spigen would have received a perfect 10 if the price tag wasn’t so high on this crystal clear beauty.  I didn’t think anything would tear me away from the Spigen Ultra Optics, but the Ultimate Class protects my screen, somewhat resists fingerprints and shows off the beauty of the retina display.  All that being said I will have a tough time giving this up to review other shields. Needless to say the Ultimate Class from Spigen and Steinheile receives my Editor’s Choice Award.

If you would like to learn more about the the Spigen/Steinheil Ultimate Class Screen Shield or pick one up for yourself head on over to their newly designed website now at www.Spigen.com.
