The rumor mill is a churning as the September event Apple has planned inches ever closer. Usually around this time of year Apple refreshes the iPod lineup and this year hopefully should be no different. The iPod Touch was rumored to receive a camera addition last year and we know that never panned out as we though it would. But with the release of the iPhone 4, with it’s dual cameras, we should see the iPod Touch finally receive the highly touted addition. What is interesting, X-Doria, a Chinese accessories manufacturer has released photos of the pro-ported redesigned iPod Touch and Nano cases. The redesigned shape of the Nano shape is very similar to the LCD leaked earlier this year. Why Apple would reduce the size of the screen on the Nano is beyond me, but as always, they will of course make it work. Which in turn will make me want to buy it.
Rating: 9 out of 10
Pros: Highly protective, soft interior, super clear screen guard, sleek and sexy appearance. Super pricing at $9.95 with optional free lanyard. Four awesome colors
Cons: High gloss finish may scratch over time
Overall: Finally a quality case with masterful construction that doesn’t break the bank. All cases should be close to this price point but this is the only one that I have seen that actually delivers. I can’t see a Nano 4G case that would protect any better than the core case. Hand written notes from the owner in your package makes you feel like a valued customer.
The Core Cases for the nano 4G can be purchased directly from their website for $9.95 by clicking here.

Rating: 8 out of 10
Pros: Stylish, great protection including covering the screen, all ports accessible, scroll wheel travels nicely.
Cons: The fabric one has a corner that is not totally glued down, just a very small section but still a section nonetheless, a bit expensive at $29.95
Overall: Another great case from Speck, which gives nice protection all the way around and really personalizes your nano. if you are frugal you can find it a bit more competitively priced.
