Lockscreen Notifications on steroids from Intelliborn

Posted in Apps, News, jailbroken by Omar C. Published October 19th, 2011

For those of you not familiar with IntelliScreen, it’s basically lock screen notifications on your iPhone the way Apple should have made them. Check out this video and see some of the newer features of IntelliscreenX for iOS 5. Keep in mind you need to be jailbroken in order to install the app. It costs $9.99 but you can download a trial version for free. I’ll go on record to say that Intelliscreen is the main reason I have always jailbroken my iPhones, it’s well worth the $9.99.

Posted in Apps, News, Review Preview, Reviews, Tips, iPad, iPhone 4, jailbroken by Ryan W.. Published March 25th, 2011

From Apple.com.

This update contains improvements and other bug fixes including:

- Fixes an occasional graphics glitch on iPod touch (4th generation)
- Resolves bugs related to activating and connecting to some cellular networks
- Fixes image flicker when using Apple Digital AV Adapter with some TVs
- Resolves an issue authenticating with some enterprise web services

This update is compatible with the iPhone 4 (AT&T), 3GS iPod Touch 3rd and 4th Gen (not 8Gb) and iPad(s) Apple iOS devices. Of course your JailBreakers out there should definitely stay away from this update if you want to preserve the possibility of any future Jailbreaks.

Connect your iOS devices to iTunes and hit sync. You should then be prompted to download and install the newer version.

AT&T Cracking Down On MyWi Users

Posted in News, Rumor, iPad, iPhone 4, jailbroken by Ryan W.. Published March 17th, 2011

Well that seemed to take a while. AT&T seems to finally have dropped the ban hammer on jail broken tethering app users. In a text message sent out to quite a few unsuspecting folks, AT&T has given an ultimatum. Either do nothing and het your plan changed to the 4GB tethering option. Or quit using tethering on your iPhone. I wonder which route a majority of folks are going to take. Personally I still have an issue with a carrier telling a user how the can use their data which has been paid for, especially unlimited plan owners. Changing a persons plan without speaking to them, which I think will be the norm, just isn’t cool in my book. Have any of you guys gotten this message from AFee&Fee? If so post up and let us know how you handled it.
