Deliverace is a classic top-down racing game that will be released on iPhone and Android soon. It features the nicest graphics, coolest physics and dirtiest powerslides ever seen on a handheld device. Developed by racing game veterans at Pixelbite Games.
Rating: 6 out of 10
Pros: great graphics, smooth gameplay, lots of action
Cons: Overwhelming with all the controls, items and enemies. Normal price is a bit higher at $4.99
Overall: Overall the game feels complicated. There are a lot of items on the screen, tons of zombies coming at you and reloading can be troublesome at times. At the current sale price $.99 it’s a great deal, you can spend a good amount of time playing this game, but it’s not a quick pick up and play game, it is a bit more involved. If you’re looking for a 3D RPG with 1st and 3rd person views, this is the game for you. Get it directly from the itunes app store here.

So there’s been a lot of talk about how the new iPhone 3G won’t work with some existing car chargers that were used with the previous version of the iPhone. I thought I was immune to this problem because every time I plug my car charger into my iPhone it seems to respond and show the charging symbol in the top right corner, but I’ve come to realize that after charging up for a few minutes that my battery life is still at the same point it was to begin with. This can be very annoying for some, because many of use have multiple chargers and we don’t want to have to buy a new one just to charge up our iPhone. Well Scosche is coming out with a new adapter, the passPORT, that will solve all our problems and allow us to keep all 20+ chargers we may have laying around useless right now. The passPORT is not only for car chargers though, it is also for iPod interfaces that are built into vehicles. For example the iPod interface in BMWs will not charge the iPhone 3G, so instead of buying a whole new car stereo you can just use this adapter. We don’t know too much about how it works, but Scosche has promised BMAi that we’ll be one of the first sites to receive a sample for a video review when they become available next month. The price point is going to be around $20 – $30. So be patient, and turn off that 3G when not in use to preserve some battery life for the mean time.
Ok guys, we’re going to start a new feature here on BMAi called “Review Preview”. This is where we’ll let you know what products we’re currently testing for review. This way we can wet your appetites early so you’ll know what product reviews will be coming soon.
