Overall: 9 out of 10
Pros: Small and compact, Bluetooth speakerphone integrated, stores in travel container, loud, great sound
Cons: Still have to use a wire to attach the speakers to each other
Overall: I have tested a few Bluetooth and several compact speakers and these are by far the best.  The deep bass produced in these small speakers and enhanced surround sound are fantastic.  I love that the travel case doubles as an iPad, iPod or iPhone stand, so setting your device into display mode is made easy.  The easy one touch buttons also make pairing easy.  The included USB cable makes charging the iDM15 as easy as plugging it into your USB port for several hours of playback time thanks to the internal Lithium Ion battery.

Oct 4th Is Probably iPhone 5 Day

AllThingsD is reporting they have received word from very reliable sources that Apple will hold a special media event on that day. The reason for the event: The iPhone 5. It was widely speculated Apple would release the updated device in September, but with the month coming to an end quickly, October seems the best bet. Not only should Apple show off the new iPhone, we should get an updated iPod Touch line, as well as the release of iCloud.

Headlining the presentation will no doubt be Apple’s new CEO Tim Cook. Mr. Cook will be accompanied by the usual Apple VP brass as the media event makes it runs. More importantly the event is said not to include Steve Jobs. No stranger to Apple events, this will be Tim’s first opportunity to show us ‘one more thing’.
