Rating: 9 out of 10
Pros:
Keeps screens cleaner longer, anti bacterial, different formulations for different people, ammonia free.
Cons:
Difficult to find a retailer or e-tailer carrying your exact configuration.
Overall:
The Antec device cleaners have performed well in my tests and all sorts of devices from phones to tablets to monitors and television screens seem to have stayed cleaner longer.  You can learn more about all of the Antec products by visiting their website at www.Antect.com to find a retailer near you.

Surc TV Remote Case for iPhone 4/4S

Posted in Cases, Misc, Video, iPhone 4 by Joon Lee. Published January 4th, 2012

Rating: 7 out of 10
Pros:
Does what it is advertised to do. Does not add a lot of bulk to the phone. App is quick, snappy and responsive when trying to control your TV. You can add multiple room remotes and customize what buttons you have.
Cons:
Not the most practical way to control your TV and is a little pricey at $90. A little difficult to take in and out of case.
Overall:
If you are one who is really committed to using your iPhone as your do it all device, then this is the case for you. The case allows the awesome functionality to control your TV with your iPhone using the easy to use and set up Surc app. Where this case misses is that this is definitely not the practical way to control your TV when you can just pick up a remote instead of pickin up your phone, unlocking, opening and waiting for app to load then choose remote and then control. Especially with a 90 dollar price tag, unless your committed to using your phone as a remote, it’s not going to be worth it. You can pick up this case at Surc’s website.

ILoveHandles Dirtbags Screen Cleaner

Posted in Misc, Reviews, Video by Omar C. Published December 30th, 2011

Rating: 9 out of 10
Pros:
6 choices to choose from
Cons: Wish they were stuffed a little more to make them firmer.
Overall: The DirtBags are a great little novelty item which are perfect for keeping your computer monitor and other devices cleaned. I much rather use these than a regular microfiber cloth. Check them out at ILoveHandles.net for $7.95 each.

Blue Icicle XLR to USB Converter

Posted in Misc, Reviews, Video by Joon Lee. Published December 15th, 2011

Rating: 9/10
Pros:
Does what it is supposed to do for a very cheap price. Very small and portable. Looks awesome.
Cons:
Questionable build quality
Overall:
If you are looking for an affordable solution to convert your XLR microphone to USB to use with your computer, the Blue Icicle may be for you. The Icicle does an excellent job at doing just this and comes in at a great price of 50 dollars. Blue has a great product with the Icicle and you can check it out at Blue’s website.

fitbit Ultra

Posted in Misc, Reviews, Video by Tom Moccia. Published December 6th, 2011

Rating: 7 out of 10
Pros:
LCD screen which gives you all information on the unit without need to sync, very small so it’s hardly noticeable, wireless syncing with base station, free app, integrates with other popular nutrition apps like LoseIt!, no subscription fee for the website integration.
Cons:
No ability to sync away from your computer, the wrist sleeve used for sleeping could be designed better, steps seem more accurate the higher on the body you wear it, app and food database needs a little polish.
Overall:
The fitbit ultra is a solid fitness companion that tracks calories burned, steps, stairs climbed, activity and sleep all viewable on the integrated LCD screen all smaller than a tube of lipstick. Instead of syncing to the app via bluetooth the fitbit ultra syncs in a different manor.  The fitbit syncs wirelessly to the charging base station, send the info to the fitbit servers then to the application.  The hardware is top notch, what I think will evolve for the better is the GUI on the app and the food database.  With the eventual bi-directionality with popular fitness apps such as LoseIt! and myfitnesspal the sky is the limit for maturation and the fitbit ultra.

You can purchase the fitbit ultra directly from their website for $99.95.

Photojojo Fisheye, Macro & Telephoto iPhone Lenses

Posted in Misc, Reviews, Video by Fabian. Published December 5th, 2011

Rating: 8 of 10
Pros:
Product is amazing and truly gives you amazing pictures.
Cons:
When installed it covers up the flash on the phone not allowing it to work properly.
Overall:
The three lens combination from Photojojo is truly amazing.  They are small and compact allowing you to take them on the go.  They can be attached to your key ring or camera bag for easy carrying.  They offer excellent build quality for long term use.  Unfortunately they can only be properly used with the phone while not in a case and upon attaching the lens it does cover up the flash.  Overall it is a great product which does as it is advertised and well worth the money.  You can pick this up from the Photojojo Store if you’d like to try it out for yourself.  Let us know your thoughts on it by leaving us a comment below.
